This place needs some love with a 5 star review. I had a great plate of spicy chicken teriyaki. Generous amounts of good chicken and rice and a great sauce. Salad was great too with lots of tangy dressing. I dined-in and thought the owner and cook were very friendly. I am really picky about my teriyaki places and glad to have a go-to in Issaquah!

A lot of rice and not a lot of meat. Pretty much sums it up. Prolly won't go back. I got the chicken and pork combo and in my opinion it was kinda expensive for what I got.
Update: rice was cold -

One of the workers there had a bad attitude. I just asked if i can get rice and chicken and he said no. The rule is not available after 2 pm and it was 1:30 and he yelled at me. Just because i asked. I wont be coming here again. First and last time. I will be eating here

The "Teriyaki Nazi" lost my business today. I've been coming here for years. While the portions are small (aka a little bit of chicken and a giant football sized portion of rice), I've always liked the taste of the food and the convenience of takeout.
Today I ordered takeout over the phone when I was about to leave work and was told "15 minutes." I had an unforseen circumstance come up at work so my lunch break was delayed and I ended up picking up my food 45 minutes after ordering. The owner chastised me for being so late and told me that he usually throws the food out after 15 minutes. He's been rude in the past when I've had the audacity to ask for extra teriyaki sauce. Today was the last straw. I didn't leave a tip and I certainly won't be back. He's lost a customer who has been coming for years. -

The sauce is bad and chicken is rubbery. Tiny little dingy dining area with employees smoking next to the front door.
Bonus, the owner is an absolute maniac and will scream and throw your food around if you do something he doesn't like, like ask for the correct food or park in the wrong spot. If you leave an honest review he calls Yelp and bullies them into taking it down (can't believe Yelp lets him do it!). Traumatic experience at Toshi's - do everyone a favor and do NOT support this man's restaurant. I will never eat there again.
